I’m a literary translator by trade and lend my voice to science fiction and fantasy authors like Daniel Abraham, Carol Berg, Nancy Kress, Ken Scholes, and Matthew Stover, among others.
I love to explore different styles and themes, to delve deep into texts and find their essence, then render them in German, my first language.
I started out as a translator in 2007 and have been working for several German publishing houses since then. As of 2017, I’m also working directly with authors who want to self-publish in Germany. So if you’re thinking about entering the German market on your own, you can hire me. Very occasionally, I also work the other way round, German to English. Either way, I appreciate being able to work closely with writers who care about seeing their words come alive in another language.
